17th-21st
Pre-WYD (Missionary Week)
During the week prior to the WYD, the Shalom Community realizes a missionary week which will take place in San José, Costa Rica. The program includes: moments of animation, praise, adoration, prayer, preaching, evangelization in groups on the streets, turism, fraternity, parties with shows and artistic presentations gathering youths from all over the world.
Staying will be provided to the pilgrims during this pre-event, thanks to an agreement between the Shalom Community and the Dioceses.

22nd-27th
World Youth Day
The WYD Program includes moments with the Pope, called Central Acts. Among them, the Sacred Way of the Cross, the Vigil, and the Sending Mass. Beyond it, the pilgrims can benefit moments of catechesis available in various languages. Another special feature is the Youth Festival, which takes place in many places spread around the city, with shows, artistic presentations and vocational stands.

Shalom Youth International Meeting
The Shalom Youth International Meeting takes place after WYD with all the pilgrims who chose to go to WYD with Shalom. It is a day of much grace, animation and prayer to well conclude the WYD and such that the pilgrims get back home full of joy and hope to preach the Gospel.
