All you need to know.

1. Which are the forms of registration?

We have the following modalities of registration:

1. Pre-WYD (Missionary Week) + WYD

Pre-WYD, from Jan 16th to Jan 21st in São José, Costa Rica
WYD, from Jan 22nd to Jan 27th in Panama City
Shalom Youth International Meeting, Jan 28th in Panama City

2. WYD

WYD, from Jan 22nd to Jan 27th in Panama City
Shalom Youth International Meeting, Jan 28th in Panama City

2. What is included in the registration?

By signing up to SHALOM ON WYD you get:

Enrollment to WYD in the Shalom Macro-Group. This means everybody will stay in the same pastoral area
Enrollment to Pre-WYD (Missionary Week)*
Shalom Kit
WYD Pilgrim Kit
Simple housing during Pre-WYD*
Simple housing during WYD
Food supply during WYD (main meals provided by the WYD organization)
Bus tickets during WYD

* only for pilgrims registered to "Pre-WYD + WYD".

3. What is included in the WYD Pilgrim Kit and in the Shalom Kit?

In the Shalom Kit:

Bag, t-shirt, buttons, pilgrim's guide and others exclusive items.

In the WYD Pilgrim Kit:

Backpack and other gadgets provided by the organizer.

4. Do I have to register on the WYD website?

No, you do not. By signing up to SHALOM ON WYD, we are responsible for your enrollment on WYD inside the Shalom Macro-Group.

5. Does the registration already include travel tickets?

No, it does not. Travel (plane) tickets and travel insurance must be acquired separately. If you want to travel with no worries, you can get in contact with the Shalom Community mission that is nearest to you and ask them how they are planning their trip.
